What shows up

Common patterns include difficulty trusting people who have given no reason for suspicion, wanting closeness while feeling a pull away from it, mistaking calm for boring and intensity for chemistry, or going quiet and agreeable in conflict without deciding to. None of these are character flaws. They're a nervous system still running an old map in a present that doesn't match it.

How the work is paced

Trust doesn't return through willpower. It returns through evidence, gathered slowly, in conditions where you have the power to stop. Sessions focus on separating an old alarm from a present-day read of a real person — a skill, not a switch — and on rebuilding confidence in your own judgment, which is often the deeper injury.

Individual work, regardless of your current relationship status

You don't need to be in a relationship right now to do this work, and you don't need to have named what happened to you as "trauma" yet. Many people start with a pattern they can't explain, not a diagnosis.
