The Teen Power and Control Wheel
Controlling behavior can start early. The Teen Power and Control Wheel, produced by the National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence and developed from the Duluth model, shows how control can appear in teen dating relationships, including through peer pressure, rumors, and social status.
It can help teens, and the adults who care about them, put words to what is happening. Select the wheel to view it full size.
